Nana Takes the Lead

I drew the sketch for this in 2006 or 2007 (and I drew Nana's left hand backwards ). I am not too happy with how it turned out because I started coloring it such a long time ago. I could start over, but I have not improved that much and by the time I finish I would be dissatisfied again. It started out well enough with their soft baby colors and then I tried to make a background... enough said. It turned into some sort of disco frenzy (I tried drawing northern lights too but the fact that I cut them out should say enough about how that turned out).

I know that their eyes are blue but I thought that it would fit them better with brown eyes (and practically every Smasher has blue eyes).

What exactly are you viewing? It's the Ice Climbers: Popo and Nana dancing on top of Icicle Mountain. It's quite unfair that Popo is the one who always gets to be the leader (who uses the outfits that places Nana in the front?) so Nana is being a bit spontaneous and taking the lead when they dance instead To me it makes perfect sense.
