Was playing Super Smash Bros and thinking about the many crossover pairings this game has inspired. Since I have a soft spot for canon and because I tend to imagine Master Hand bossing the Nintendo characters around, I had this idea about him forcing Link and Mario to swap princesses for a day.

I saw a fanfiction with this situation as a main plot. Master Hand orders Link, Zelda, Peach and Mario tu switch 'places'. Everyone gets angry... Mario doesn´t know what to do with Zelda and meanwhile Peach decides to cook something for Link....
I don´t remember what was the name of that fanfic.. it was fun

same here, I never saw him as this pushover kid people seem to like making him be. I always saw him as having a silent dominance type thing going on

Me too

At the same time, even if I do not imagine him to be unnecessarily loud or the most talkative person, I never saw him as an introvert. Such a huge part of the games is about going up to people and talking to them and people always seem to like him very easily, so it becomes hard to think about him like that. And, since I am a bit shy myself, I feel better imagining him like someone who can face the fears I have and give me a bit of courage.
